Terracotta

Speaker: Dominik Dorn is Vice President of the Java Student User Group and specially interested in scalable web-platforms.

Terracotta is a distributed memory management system, which allows your application to scale on demand by simply adding some new servers. Dominik will describe the basic principles behind Terracotta, show some demos and how to get started with it.


Java 7

Speaker: Florian Motlik is President of the Java Student User Group and specially interested in all the new shiny Java 7 Features.

He will give us an introduction into the new features of Java 7 and show us some demos. Afterwards, we will discuss the new features and their pros & cons to get a deeper understanding of the changes.


Networking

After the Talks we will be going to Nelsons for networking and some fine beer (or other drinks :) )
