I don't buy your particular comemnt on Netbeans, that Sun invented another language to spread its adoption. I don't think Netbeans is that poor,in fact it is good, did you check Netbeans 6.Whats wrong in coming up with a free IDE when introducing a technology?. Do expect Sun should have come up with whole new IDE?. Apart from that, they do have Eclipse Plug-in. No need to tell you, that,in order run the Eclipse plug-in, first you need Eclipse platform.I see the same case in Sun asking you to download Netbeans. If you want to run Hello World' stuff, use JavaFXPad or as someone suggested, a text pad.By the way, I am not Netbeans fan boy, I am an Eclipse plug-in developer.
