Lickin' Web Applications
Thomas Fuchs, the creator of the Javascript Framework Scriptaculous and member of the Prototype JS Framework will show us how to create lickin' web applications ( fast & easy with a great UX!)
Abstract:
- Short historical overview web applications technologies
- Charm Stack
- Rails, Postgres, Zepto, Backbone
- Ruby/CoffeeScript
- Client-side Single-Page-Apps
- HTML5/CSS3 stuff
- Real-time updates with Redis/Websockets/Polling
